Penfield has a recycling drop off center next to the Township Hall. Plastic, #1 (HDPE) and #2 (PETE) and milk jugs are accepted. Bi-metal cans, aluminum cans, aluminum, glass (except drinking glasses and window glass) vehicle batteries, a 24-hour green & yellow dumpster is provided for magazines, office paper, shopping catalogues, junk mail, and newspapers in loose containers. An all green Allied Waste dumpster is available 24 hours for cardboard. Please flatten boxes. Labels may be left on the cans and all containers should be rinsed out before bringing to the center.
